Spring 2022

How We Met

On a night out after a Savannah Bananas game where we saw each other but didn't have the confidence to do anything about it, we just so happened to end up at the same bar. Ash will tell you the story of our first conversation if you ask her about it (please do), but it was truly love at first sight.

Fall 2022 - Spring 2025

Life Comes at you Fast

Things moved quickly. Ty moved in with Ash in October and then after a year, we moved to Wisconsin for Ty's Master's degree. Fast forward eighteen months and we picked up again to head to Pittsburgh for work.

Spring 2026

The Proposal

After realizing that no matter where in the world we went, we only needed each other, Ty decided it was time to make it official. We took a trip to the Southern coast of Portugal where Ty dropped to a knee and asked the easiest question of his life.

Fly In

Savannah / Hilton Head International (SAV) is about 20 minutes from downtown and ~15 from Victory North. Larger hubs — Jacksonville (JAX) and Charleston (CHS) — are each roughly 2 hours by car. SAV has direct flights from most major cities.

Getting Around

Rideshares (Uber & Lyft) are quick and inexpensive all over Savannah. On the day itself you won’t need one — a shuttle will run between Hotel Indigo and Victory North.

Explore

Forsyth Park & its fountain, River Street, the squares, SCAD’s galleries, and historic Bonaventure Cemetery — plus a beach day at Tybee Island, about 25 minutes out. Ask us for our favorite restaurants!

When do we need to RSVP by?

Please reply by March 1, 2027. RSVP will open right here on the site soon — you’ll find your party by the name on your invitation.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation will list exactly who is invited. If it reads “and Guest,” you’re welcome to bring one guest of your choosing.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll enjoy a night off!

What should I wear?

Black tie optional. Tuxedos and gowns are welcome, and a dark suit is just as right. Savannah in June is warm and humid, so lighter fabrics will serve you well.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony begins at 6:30 pm. Please plan to arrive by 6:00 so you have time to find your seat before we begin.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Both, at Victory North. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception indoors, so you’ll only be out in the heat for a little while.

How do we get to the venue?

A shuttle will run between Hotel Indigo, where our room block is, and Victory North, so there’s no need to drive on the day. If you’d rather make your own way, Uber and Lyft are quick and easy to find all over Savannah.

Where should we stay?

We have a room block at Hotel Indigo in the Historic District, and the shuttle runs from there. Booking opens soon — we’ll post the link in Travel & Stay above.

Where are you registered?

Your presence is truly the greatest gift. For those who have asked, we’re registered at Crate & Barrel and have a newlywed fund — you’ll find both links in the registry section above.
